I have no idea why women wear these things. If you are big enough to need support, they won’t work, and if you are smaller, you don’t need them.

Question by SharpDr08: What type of floor tiles to use in my shop?
I am preparing on opening a tailor shop and i would like to know what type of floor tiles should i consider using? I have looking into self installation vinyl tiles with self adhesive ones, but i am not sure if they will stick well and bu durable. The store currently has nothing, its a store in a newly built plaza and the floor is just concrete. Size of the entire store is 1300sqft. Thanks for your advice.

The vinyl tiles have strong adhesive. you don’t need to worry about them coming up unless you have a damp floor. As a matter of fact you have to be super careful laying them because if you place it wrong you’ll have to scrap it up. I would highly suggest you lay plywood down as a subfloor first though.

Question by HSS: advice regarding draft proofing self adhesive strip?
hi, ive recently moved to a new aparment and even tho it has double glazed windows they havent seemed to be fitted in properly as i can feel draughts coming in and even the window cutains move when there is a strong wind.. i have been advised by the maintainence man to get self adhesive foam to fix the problem as he feels the ladlord wil not spend money to fix the problem.. im not sure wht i to get.. the can variety or the tape variety also there is no BandQ or home base near my house any other hardware shops tht carry this product? the cracks in the window sill are quite wide (a pound coin can easily fit in sideways)
wht do i do?
thanks for the tip abt the paper strips scaryang.. ive done it til i can go out and get tht foam thingie from th hardware store..

Sounds as if a road trip is the order for today, you’ll have to get to the hardware store to buy the weather strip.

Hi all,

Thanks for looking.

I bought 2 self adhesive photo albums today. (Buy one get One free on selected albums & frames @ Boots – UK! lol)

Now, I have used these types of album before but this time i need them to be perfect,
as they are to show all the new photography tricks I’ve learned with my new camera.

The problem is that no matter how many times i do it, i can never smooth out all of the creases in the film above the photos.
Then i started thinking maybe there is a trick to it that I’m not aware of!

So does anyone have any advice they could offer me for beating the creases back?

Trial and error. It may help to have someone else holding the sheets out straight while you smooth them into place.

I hate to tell you this, being you already bought the albums, but if you leave your images in there a long time, (several years), they may stick to the backing and become impossible to remove withour tearing. Those “magnetic” albums are not the best storage solution for your photos.

I buy labels from http://www.onlinelabels.com/ I find the quality is good, the prices are much lower then getting Avery at an office supply store and you can get very large quantities and multiple colors and styles.
